Syntax
LooperDelete(<Looper control> [, <Subscript> [, <Animation>]])
<Looper control>: Control name
Name of Looper control to use.
If this parameter is equal to an empty string (""), the deletion will be performed in the current Looper control.
<Subscript>: Optional integer
Subscript of row to delete.
  • If this parameter is not specified, the deletion will be performed in the current row.
  • LooperDelete has no effect if <Subscript> is greater than the number of rows.
<Animation>: Optional Integer constant

(Default value)
No animation is played during the deletion.
loopAnimationDeletePlays an animation during the deletion. This animation corresponds to a disappearance effect by reducing the height of the row.

LooperDelete can be used on a browsing or memory Looper control.

Use with a browsing Looper control

If the Looper control is based on a data file:
  • the record is deleted from the data file.
  • the next row is selected (if the last row is deleted, the previous row will be selected). The record selected in the linked data file corresponds to the selected row.
