The Automatic Application Features (AAF) allow you to add features to your application without having to write a single line of code. All you have to do is check the relevant options in order to benefit from these features.
Some examples of AAF:
Help the users
You want to provide the users with a documentation regarding the automatic features of your application (sort and search in the tables, operations on charts, ...)? All you have to do is provide the "WINDEV AAF xx.pdf" file. This file (available in the "Help" directory of WINDEV) is intended for the users of WINDEV applications. It presents the automatic WINDEV features included in your applications: resizing the window, handling tables, handling charts, ...). This file is automatically included in your application if you are using the automatic menu.
A modifiable version of this file is also available from the "Help" directory of WINDEV.

Functions for managing the Automatic Features

Several WLanguage functions allow you to manage the automatic features:
AAFChangeCaptionChanges the default captions of menu options of AAFs.
AAFConfigureAllows you to configure the behavior of some AAFs.
AAFDisableDisables an Automatic Application Feature (AAF) on a control or window. You have the ability to disable the export to Excel for a Table control for example.
